My Visit To Fatehpur Sikri

For me it was very excited memories to visit Fatehpur Sikri. I was visited it in December 2017 after visiting the Tajmahal. Fatehpur Sikri a historical town was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is 40 km distance from Agra City.

A red sandstone city that was once the extravagant capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. There are several places that you should spend time exploring while you are at Fatehpur Sikri.

Buland Darwaza

Buland Darwaza, at the entrance to Jama Masjid (mosque), is claimed to be the tallest gateway in the world. Behind this gate is the white marble tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chishti. Buland Darwaza is a UNESCO world heritage site.
