This monsoon don't just pay attention to fashion but to the right kind of fashion.

Over the top

Keep your top wear lighter and brighter it give you comfort look and keep you warm and dry. You can wear a trench coat as a long jacket over leggings and besides the classy black and brown shades, bright neon prints and colours in trench coats are in vogue too. You can also wear cotton because it is not only a favorites and a key fabric in summer but also in monsoons as it is skin friendly and quick drying. Mixed fabrics of cotton and polyster are also great during monsoon. There is a lots of variety available in the market. Play suits,jumpsuits,bright coloured graphic T shirts ,hoodies,hunk top and cardigans.Always avoid wearing a sheer top. These will stick to your skin if you get drenched and will show through. Some fabrics like cotton,chiffon,light weighted silk will not look out of place even when it isn't raining or any season.

Footwear

Excessive wetness can make your feet wrinkly and prone to bactorial and fungal infection. Ignore high heels for the time being and wear shoes that can endure the rain. Instead of pencil heels go for pumps to walk more comfortably and avoid the damp and mushy situations on the street. You can also opt for block heels,wedges and water proof boots or even a pair of stylish flats. Avoid leather and suede footwear because those materials are fertile breeding grounds for fungus and bacteria. Rainy footwear has to be good grip and should be slip resistant. You can also choose slightly elevated rainy boots. Transparent and electrifying neon coloured footwear is also in fashion.

Happy legs

For legs go for dark colour material of the cloth should be soft and light weighted. In rainy season avoid white and light colours. You can try bright shades for those of you who can't do without their jeans can wear cropped Capri or rolled up pants. Avoid heavy fabrics like denim,clingy Lycra which take time to dry. The best fabric in monsoon would be the easy to maintain and easy to dry. You can add in your style by wearing a shirt,harem pants,trousers,shorts,chinos.

Accessories

Put your gold ,diamond and silver jewellery into the box. Glamorize yourself with some funky and colourful jewelleries. 

Beautiful bracelets,necklaces,rings,water resistant bags,colourful pouches will give you a fantastic look.

Include colourful baubles toles and pretty umbrellas in your fashion statement.

When you wearing colourful raincoat make sure that your raincoat is a single colour and not multi coloured. A multi coloured raincoat will just end up looking kitschy and garish.

You can use transparent raincoat and umbrella in rainy season that are cute too instead of full printed one. Experiment with funky hair accessories too.
