My visit to Puducherry

Puducherry is also known as mini Goa. It is union territory of India formerly known as Panducherry. To visit Puducherry we caught the train from Chennai. After 2 hours we reached Villupuram and then we hired Taxi to go Puducherry which taken 1 hour to reach.

Promenade Beach:::

As a human being, we are naturally attracted to water, to coastal wetlands such as coral reefs and beaches and inland wetlands such as lakes and rivers. Among many of beaches Promonade beach is one among of them.

By walking distance 1 km from main city we visited Promenade Beach. It is one of the famous beach of Puducherry. This is one of the most visited parts of the city and major tourist attraction.

The 1.5 kilometer long strech faces the way of bengal and offers a wonderful getaway from the daily chores, to the local tourist alike. We visited in the night and also in the morning. We saw sunrise that was unforgettable moment for me. Gandhi statue and war memorial are the important things to watch here.
